Program Volunteer: Help staff naturalists provide quality programming for the public and increase your knowledge of wildlife and conservation. Field Trip Naturalist: With more training and a weekly commitment, you can give guided tours through the museum and the Nature Center grounds. Gardening, Grounds & Landscape: Help maintain our teaching gardens (wildflower, herb, and vegetable), learn about organic growing, and maintain pathways, the greenhouse and the diverse landscape. ParkWatch: Help keep the Parks secure and in tip-top shape. In this non-confrontational program, you spend time in the Parks and report what you witness. Office Assistant: We often have projects in the Learning Center, library, on the computers, doing historical research, or organizing photo albums.> Exotic Plant Removal: Join staff on organized removal and restoration days. Do your part to protect our native species. Adopt-a-Part-of-the-Park: Adopt a special area of the Parks. Restore and maintain the area by keeping it free of trash and exotic plants. Trailwork: Help keep trails clean and safe, including removal of fallen tree branches and regular clearing of bridges. For those with the interest and experience, the trail manager may solicit more involved projects.
